Description
Technological innovations and their implications in pedagogical practices are presented as challenges for professionals in education. The choice of Veredas Undergraduate Teacher Training Course by FAE/UFMG destinated for teachers of initial grades of the State of Minas Gerais/ Brazil allowed investigating the incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in educational contexts. Usually we relate the difficult of the use of informatics by teachers as a result of a insufficient training but by identifying the lack of connection between the training proposals and the contexts of action of these teachers, we perceive the idealized use of the computer which disregards the school conditions, providing, in fact, inadequate training. In addition, ICTs depend on an educational practice that incorporates them as pedagogical mediation. In this regard, for technological innovations have effect in educational contexts, it is not enough to change the technology without changing actions necessary for its use.
